I distinctly remember changing a song in the second half of the show one season. It was probably in August. We held extra rehearsals, both music and drill, and worked our a$$es off to make this massive change. The arr. was difficult, and the drill (footwork) made it even more so.

The change ? We added a tune arranged by Ed Morrissey named "Mama Inez." We played it for the balance of the season (I think).

Questions: 1. What year am I talking about? I'm thinking 1962 or '63.
2. What song came out of the show to make
room for Inez?
3. Is there a recording of us playing "Mama
Inez"? If so, how can I get a copy?

Note: The Cambridge Caballeros played "Mama Inez" in their 1961 show in Miami.

Any hints?

PS I can still play the bass bari part.
